Overview

Patio de Conchita Restaurant, nestled in the historic heart of Intramuros, Manila, offers a genuine taste of Filipino cuisine wrapped in a nostalgic ambiance. Situated at 680 Beaterio St, this charming eatery delivers an authentic dining experience that blends traditional flavors with old-world charm, making it a notable destination for locals and tourists alike.

The space itself is a standout feature. With its open layout and antique, vintage-style decor, Patio de Conchita evokes a sense of stepping back in time. Cozy seating arrangements, warm lighting, and a well-ventilated environment come together to create an inviting atmosphere that encourages relaxation and conviviality. This setting suits those who appreciate a leisurely meal paired with cultural heritage, whether catching up with friends or soaking in the Intramuros vibe.

At the heart of Patio de Conchita’s appeal is its menu, rich in classic Filipino dishes. The Kare Kare, a traditional peanut stew, and the savory Lechon Kawali showcase the kitchen’s ability to deliver comforting, familiar flavors. Meanwhile, the likes of Sinigang Na Bihod, Bicol Express, and Adobo Pusit provide a deeper dive into regional tastes, adding complexity and variety. Fresh and grilled seafood options such as Inihaw Na Squid and Kinilaw Na Tanigue reflect the archipelago’s love for ocean fare. Notably, the Lumpiang Sariwa receives high praise for its freshness and flavor, becoming a must-try highlight. For dessert, their halo-halo serves as a refreshing capstone to the meal, generous in size and rich in texture.

Customer experiences underline the restaurant’s strengths. Warm hospitality and attentive service create a welcoming environment where diners feel at ease. The affordability adds to the charm, offering hearty Filipino fare without financial strain, a significant factor especially for travelers exploring Intramuros. However, some note that while the food is satisfying, certain dishes may not stand out as extraordinary, reflecting the challenge of balancing authenticity and innovation.

Patio de Conchita is ideal for those seeking an immersive Filipino dining experience with a historical backdrop. Its combination of classic flavors, vintage ambiance, and approachable prices appeals to culture enthusiasts, families, and tourists wanting more than just a meal but a slice of Manila’s heritage.

If you’re looking for affordable Filipino food in Intramuros with a touch of old Spanish scenery, dine at Patio de Conchita. You must try their pork adobo, sinigang na baboy, and kilawin

I recently visited this charming little café in Intramuros, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! The retro vibe truly sets it apart, with vintage decor and cozy seating arrangements that make you feel like stepping back in time while enjoying modern comforts. The warm lighting adds to the inviting atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax or catch up with friends. One of the best aspects is its affordability; the menu offers a variety of delicious Filipino dishes and beverages at prices that won’t break the bank, allowing you to enjoy a hearty meal without feeling guilty about your budget. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, making me feel welcome from the moment I walked in, and their recommendations were spot on. While I would love to see a few more options on the menu, especially for those with dietary restrictions, I highly recommend this cozy spot for anyone looking for a laid-back experience with a touch of nostalgia. I’ll definitely be back!

This is a different kind of restaurant, with a open layout and antique style decor. The food was average and a bit expensive but this is a tourist area.

We visited last 27th of January during lunch time. There aren’t many people dining-in so we were able to secure some seats. Place is well ventilated. It is also well decorated. I ordered Kare-Kare which is quite pricey. Nothing special added to it. We also tried Lumpiang Sariwa which I like the most. I finished it almost immediately. Lastly, we ordered small Halo-Halo. We didn’t expect it to be that big of a serving. I think their large Halo-halo is good for 2 people already. There is only one restroom at the second floor. Overall experience will be 4.5 ⭐

Great place to eat in Intramuros. Just around Manila Cathedral which makes it easy to find. They served breakfast in a buffet like self-service set-up but you would only pay for what you eat just like in a regular karinderya. The twist here is the nostalgic vibe of the place which retains its classic look from the past. A little bit of cleaning is needed though for some spots as this place doesn't have air-conditioning. Would recommend especially for breakfast when it's not that hot yet outdoors.

This one's a favorite of mine already. The food is very good; I like their chicken curry, they have huge serving. They have a huge food selection to choose from. I met the owner, and she was so nice and friendly that she even gave a brief story of their place. The transformation into a restaurant is simply amazing. nice place, delicious food, huge serving, nice service

Stumbled upon this restaurant by accident. First impression is amazing, rustic, full of history. Well maintained. Staff was ultra friendly, explaining every meal, very accommodating. Prices are okay, a bit shame that they are not somehow displayed.
